Shield Tour

South Australia is gearing up for Game 1 of the 2023 Ampol State of Origin series at Adelaide Oval next Wednesday, but the action is kicking off well beforehand with the Ampol State of Origin Shield Tour.

Powered by Ampol, the shield will be on a roving tour across the Festival State with Ampol Ambassador Sam Thaiday before reaching its home at Adelaide Oval on Wednesday.

The tour starts in Adelaide on Friday, where the Shield will be visiting East Torrens State School who were selected as one of the lucky schools to participate in the Ampol Little Origin experience, before circling the state to iconic locations such as Kangaroo Island, The Barossa Valley, Tailem Bend & Monarto Zoo.

The general public will get the chance to engage with the Shield up close at the Captain’s Call at Rundle Mall on Tuesday, or catch the Shield at The Ampol North Adelaide location on O'Connell St from 3pm to 5pm, where last minute Origin tickets, prizes & merchandise will be up for grabs to some lucky winners on site.
