The NRL tonight recorded its highest ever Telstra Premiership Final Series total attendance (excluding Grand Finals) and is poised to record the highest ever total attendance for a finals series including Grand Finals.<br><br>Tonight’s crowd of 27,687 at Melbourne’s Etihad Stadium took the total attendance for the opening three weeks of the Telstra Premiership Finals Series to 268,960, surpassing the previous record of 256,075 set in 1998.<br><br>The Week 3 total attendance of 102,236 is also the highest total for Week 3 of the Telstra Premiership Finals, smashing the previous mark of 85,587 set in 2005.&nbsp; &nbsp;<br><br>The highest ever attendance for a finals series, including the Grand Final, is 317,659 set in 1999.<br>
