The race to be the first NSW Club to have 10,000 Ticketed Club Members looks like it will be decided sooner rather than later with both the Dragons and Rabbitohs requiring less than 600 members to reach the historic figure.

With the Telstra Premiership season kicking off in just over 3 weeks, the Dragons and Rabbitohs have continued to sit neck and neck since the start of the year, with both clubs being in a strong position to take out the honours.

Further down the ladder, the Bulldogs and Sharks have started to put pressure on the Eels as the club with the greatest membership growth this season.  Although the Eels grand final appearance helped them to start the off season as the fastest selling club, the Bulldogs and Sharks have continued to chip away at the Eels lead, ensuring that the secondary prize of $10,000  is far from being a certainty.

Big movers over the last week have been the Wests Tigers and Storm, who have both shot up the ladder.  The Wests Tigers have become the 7th NRL club to eclipse their 2009 totals, whilst the Storm are currently at the half way mark.
