This Sunday,  the Parramatta Eels will celebrate a new milestone when club legend Nathan Hindmarsh breaks Brett Kenny’s record of 265 matches for the club.

Hindmarsh’s 266th game for the Parramatta Eels will set a new mark in the club’s proud history as the Eels’ most capped player.

The achievement will be celebrated at ANZ Stadium this Sunday when Parramatta take on the South Sydney Rabbitohs at 3.00pm.

“It means a lot to me that I’m achieving a milestone like this at a club like Parramatta which is full of tradition,” Hindmarsh said.

“Some of the great players in our game have played for this club, like Brett Kenny, Ray Price and Mick Cronin, and they really put the club in the position it is today.

“Playing in Rugby League’s heartland in western Sydney has been a great experience.”

Hindmarsh is one of the game’s most popular players and won the People’s Choice Provan Summons Medal at the Dally M’s four years in a row. He was also appointed as the face of Western Sydney Rugby League this year and the Parramatta Eels encourage all Rugby League fans to come to ANZ and celebrate the achievement of one of the game’s great players.

The Eels are offering all NRL ticketed club members free entry to the ground to show their support for Hindmarsh this Sunday.

Families are encouraged to attend and enjoy the activities of the NRL’s Family Fun Day prior to the match and take advantage of the $40 Family ticket available.

Limited edition Nathan Hindmarsh trucker caps will be on sale for $35 so fans can look just like their hero, who is rarely seen without one covering his mane of hair!
