Round 16 of the Telstra Premiership is Women in League Round, and thanks’ to the official partner of Women in League, Harvey Norman, any fan, family or group who dresses in pink this round goes into the running to win a $250 Harvey Norman voucher!
The Harvey Norman Women in League initiative was established in 2007 to celebrate and acknowledge the role of women in Rugby League, including the 40,000 female volunteers who play such an integral part to our code at the grassroots level.
To acknowledge the contribution women and girls play in our sport, five clubs will wear special pink jerseys this weekend (Dragons, Panthers, Roosters, Sea Eagles and Eels), and all games are offering a special $40 Family ticket* for this weekend.
A number of other Women in League related initiatives are also planned at each of the eight matches this weekend, and clubs are encouraging all fans to get involved by wearing a little bit (or a lot!) of pink to the ground.
