Six wonderful women have been shortlisted for the 2012 NSW Women of the Year Awards in the People’s Choice – Community Hero category.

Over 200 responses were received from across NSW highlighting the many achievements and contributions of women. The judging panel had a very difficult job in selecting finalists with so many excellent nominees.

The People’s Choice - Community Hero category showcases women who are local heroes, volunteers or quiet achievers who have made an outstanding contribution to their local community.
