Fans have the chance to take out a premium State of Origin experience as part of the auction raising money to support bushfire victims.

Rugby League fans will have a unique opportunity to cement their spots on the sidelines at the 2014 Holden State of Origin and 2014 Telstra Premiership Grand Final with the NRL joining Australian and overseas Rugby League World Cup stars in forming a unique auction to raise money for the NSW bushfire victims.

Up for auction at nrl.com/auctions are two premium match-day experiences for Game II of the 2014 Holden State of Origin and the 2014 Telstra Premiership Grand Final a chance to go behind the scenes to see the player's dressing rooms, meet former NRL greats and be chauffeured to and from ANZ Stadium.

"As part of the NRL's initiative to raise money for the NSW bushfire victims, the Blues and Maroons want to get involved," 2013 NSW player Michael Jennings said.

"Our players come from right across the state and are well aware of the impact the bushfires have across both city and county regions.

"Our Queensland counterparts are also fully aware of the impact that natural disasters have on the community.

"Let's get a NSW win up now by having a local take home this amazing opportunity."

NRL Chief Operating Officer Mr Jim Doyle said that people needed to be mindful of how long it would take to rebuild in many communities

"A lot of the public attention fades when the fires move through but the needs of the family's remains and this is just one way we can try and help," Doyle said.

"Rugby League is a community game and across every team people are looking for the chance to lend a hand."

"This auction is a great way to collect some unique sporting memorabilia and experiences while helping those who need a hand."
