The Gold Coast Titans have confirmed the signing of Brisbane fullback Josh Hoffman on a three-year deal.

"In response to speculation in the media today the iSelect Titans can confirm we this afternoon agreed to terms with Kiwi international Josh Hoffman, who the Brisbane Broncos have agreed to release from his contract with the club, for a three-year deal," the club said in a short statement on its website on Thursday evening.

It added there would be "more information to come tomorrow."

Brisbane had previously given Hoffman permmission to negotiate with other clubs despite still having a year to run on his contract.

There has since been speculation Newcastle fullback Darius Boyd would seek to link up with incoming Broncos head coach Wayne Bennett, who coached Boyd at the Knights and prior to that the Dragons and Broncos.
