After a starring performance in the big win over the Warriors on Sunday afternoon, Roger Tuivasa-Sheck said holding his future team to zero points was the most pleasing aspect of the 24-0 victory.
"I'm really happy with that win," Tuivasa-Sheck told NRL.com.
"We've been fighting for [holding a team to] zero this whole season so I'm really pleased about that."
With the defensive shut-out – against a team that usually has no trouble racking up the points – the Roosters have now conceded just 72 points in eight home games so far this season.
"Awesome, that's pretty cool," the dynamic fullback said when told of that particular statistic.
"It's always hard to know all the stats on that but I'm pleased with our performance and it was awesome seeing the boys [excited] in the game, just their faces."
Tuivasa-Sheck also claimed an impressive try against the team he will play for next year, chasing down and claiming a mid-field bomb over current Warriors custodian Sam Tomkins.
"It was cool getting that try," he said.
"It's something we've been working on a lot just trying to isolate them underneath the post, because every team they've all practiced their one-on-ones on the wings and the centres.
"We've been working on that heaps and I'm just happy that pulled off today."
The 22-year-old also had a game-high 22 runs for 248 metres and seven tackle breaks on Sunday afternoon, a big performance made easier by the platform laid by the big Roosters forwards.
"It gives me a lot of confidence to take them on because I know I've got the big boys in front of me," he said.
With the Roosters now winning five straight, the man known as RTS also said his side should now be aiming for the minor premiership.
"If we can, we'll definitely push for the number one spot," he said.
"I think Broncos are ahead by six points... hopefully we can catch them."
