The rugby league season may be over, but the Men of League Foundation will be seeing out the year by hosting the Men of League Cox Plate Race Day this Saturday at Royal Randwick.
All members of the public as well as rugby league and racing enthusiasts are invited to join the Men of League in celebrating the work done by the charity around the country during 2015. The wonderful day of colour and excitement will start from 12.30pm in the Queen Elizabeth II Grandstand Ballroom.
Guests at the event will be able to rub shoulders with rugby league elite and help raise essential funds so that the Men of League may continue its efforts to support the men, women and children of the rugby league community.
"The Men of League Cox Plate Race Day will be another great event for the Men of League," said Men of League Chairman Ron Coote AM.
"I'm really looking forward to being able to catch up with many former great players who'll be attending and meeting those who have supported the Men of League throughout the year.
"It will be a magnificent afternoon of sport and fashion at Royal Randwick and I hope to see many supporters of the Men of League there on the day"
A highlight of the day will be the Men of League raffle with a huge cash prize draw of $10,000. Tickets in the raffle can be bought throughout the day at Royal Randwick. For those not attending the race day, you can still be in the running for the $10,000 cash prize by purchasing tickets online at the Men of League website.
