League Nation Live hosts Nathan Appo, Aaron Fa'Aoso, Justin Hodges, Hannah Hollis and Jodan Perry.

Tuesday, 8 March, 7.30pm on NITV (Ch 34 & Foxtel 144)

Special guests on NITV's League Nation Live this week include Head Coach of Queensland's State of Origin team Kevin Walters and winner of three Premierships and former Captain of the Fiji National Team Petero Civoniceva.

Joining hosts Justin Hodges, Aaron Fa'Aoso, Hannah Hollis, Jodan Perry and Nathan Appo, live in the studio are Sharks fullback Ben Barba; Trey Bin-Garape talks fashion and footy; former Brisbane Bronco Jharal Yow Yeh has the lowdown on the Intrust Super Cup and CKNU bring some fusion hip-hop to the LNL stage.

Speaking to Justin Hodges, Kevin Walters discusses the solutions to keeping the winning formula going in Queensland's Origin squad:

"I think the key for Queensland…[is] just trying to stagger those retirements when they do happen. That would be in the ideal world but I don't know if we are going to be afforded that luxury.

"I think players today look after themselves certainly a lot more than in my day – hence a bit more longevity in the game. They've been special players too and hopefully we can stagger them out of their transition from Origin but that's not always going to work."

Produced by Indigenous production company, Carbon Media, in front of a live Brisbane studio audience, League Nation Live brings 90 jam-packed minutes of entertainment and sports each Tuesday night.

From community clubs to the State of Origin, all layers of the game will be covered by some of the country's biggest league personalities, alongside entertainment guests and performances.

Viewers can keep up to date with all the news via League Nation Live website, and join in the conversation on Twitter and Facebook using #LeagueNationLive and #NITV.
