Shaun Fensom capped a typically busy performance with the final try in Canberra's Round 1 win over Penrith.

Solo tries to Greg Inglis and Shaun Johnson showcased the individual brilliance of NRL superstars, but they were overshadowed by some amazing length of the field team efforts as rugby league roared back to life in the opening round of the NRL Telstra Premiership.

Tireless Canberra forward Shaun Fensom scored an amazing individual match-winner in the final minute against Penrith, while team four-pointers to the Warriors, Wests Tigers and Broncos are sure to feature in try of the year conversations later in the year.
