David Hala's injury-riddled stint with the Titans has come to an end with the big prop released by mutual consent from the remainder of his contract effective immediately.

Having joined Gold Coast prior to the 2015 season Hala was restricted to just two top-grade games due largely to ongoing knee problems and a dislocated elbow that he suffered at the start of the season.

The 26-year-old has rejoined Intrust Super Cup club the Redcliffe Dolphins and thanked the Titans players, staff and fans for their support the past two years.

"Thank you to the fans and especially the players for all your support," Hala said.

"I am grateful to have met all the people I have through the Gold Coast Titans and I wish nothing but the best for the club and all the players, mates, doko, usos and churs."

Hala made his NRL debut for the Broncos in 2009 and has played 39 games over the past seven seasons.
