League Nation Live hosts Nathan Appo, Aaron Fa'Aoso, Justin Hodges, Hannah Hollis and Jodan Perry.

Tonight at 7.30pm on NITV (Ch 34 & Foxtel 144)

League Nation Live brings viewers their weekly dose of NRL action with all the news from on and off the field - hosted by Justin Hodges, Aaron Fa’Aoso, Hannah Hollis, Jodan Perry and Nathan Appo. On this week’s show:

• Special guests Steve Renouf, Libby Cook-Black, Jharal Yow Yew and Brad Beetson are in the League Nation Live studio to discuss sport, tactics and strategy. Twenty rounds in and with many teams dropping out of finals contention, the panel talk about the past week’s action, the Men of League round and where clubs are now sitting on the NRL ladder.

• Brisbane South’s rugby league Libby Cook-Black speaks about the big Women’s Interstate Challenge and her incredible journey to the game. The former Mackay netball player has only been playing rugby league for a year and has already represented Australia as a Jillaroo in May 2016.  Libby’s passion for the game shows why women’s rugby league is the fastest-developing area of the game.

• Former Broncos champion centre Steve ‘the Pearl’ Renouf and President of the Nambour Crushers Brad Beetson (and eldest son of the late Arthur Beetson), talk to the team about the Arthur Beetson Foundation, which provides vital assistance to Indigenous Australians and is hosting the 2016 Murri Rugby League Carnival. Considered one of the biggest footy comps on the Indigenous calendar and supported by Deadly Choices, the carnival promotes health checks and school attendance for Indigenous Australians and kicks off between September 21- 24 at the Dolphins Oval in Redcliffe, Queensland.

• Courier Mail journalist Pete Badel gives his special ‘Pete Grand Final Preview’ predictions and joins Justin Hodges, former Broncos player Jharal Yow Yew and Libby Cook-Black to review the results from last week and look ahead to this weekend’s clashes.

Produced by Indigenous production company, Carbon Media, in front of a live Brisbane studio audience, the series brings 90 jam-packed minutes of entertainment and sports each Tuesday night. From community clubs to the State of Origin, all layers of the game will be covered by some of the country’s biggest league personalities, alongside entertainment guests and performances.

Viewers can keep up to date with all the news via League Nation Live website, and join in the conversation on Facebook and Twitter using #LeagueNationLive and #NITV.
