Six teams kept their undefeated starts alive in Round 2 of the NRL Telstra Premiership season. The Rabbitohs continued their dominant start with a resounding win over the Knights. The Broncos overcame the Warriors while the Eels produced an upset win over the Cowboys. A penalty goal after the siren from NRL debutant Kerrod Holland separated his Bulldogs and the Panthers. A Sam Williams field goal edged out the Roosters in the nation's capital while an enthusiastic Tigers side downed Manly.  It was an afternoon to forget for Red V custodian Kurt Mann as his Dragons side fell to the Sharks.
