Canberra forward Clay Priest has re-signed with the Raiders.

Canberra forward Clay Priest, Raiders teammate Joey Leilua and Roosters forward Mitchell Aubusson have all been charged by the NRL Match Review Committee following their Round 1 Telstra Premiership matches.

Priest has been charged with grade one dangerous contact to the head/neck, and as he has a prior similar offence in the past two years has incurred a further 50 per cent loading. This means the base charge of 100 points increases to 150 points, so even with an early guilty plea the points would only reduce to 112.

This means Priest would miss one match (100 points).

Leilua has been charged with grade one contrary conduct in the Raiders' clash with the Cowboys on Saturday night. This charge carries a fine of $1,500 but Leilua has a prior non-similar offence in the past two years, increasing the fine to $1,800. Leilua can take an early guilty plea and pay a $1,350 fine.

Roosters forward Aubusson has been charged with a grade one dangerous throw on Titans co-captain Ryan James, which has a base penalty of 100 points. Aubusson can take an early guilty plea to reduce his penalty to 75 points and hence not miss a match.
