Warriors lock Simon Mannering and hooker Issac Luke have both been named in the Round 2 squad to face Melbourne Storm in Auckland despite both players suffering injuries in Round 1.

Mannering left the field with a suspected neck injury early in the second half of the Warriors' 26-22 win over the Newcastle Knights on Sunday. Luke also took no further part in the game after suffering a rib complaint late in the first half.

Prop Charlie Gubb has also been named, despite concussion concerns after the Knights game.

"Simon will be fine, Charlie has to go through some concussion protocols and we'll see how Issac is at training over the next couple of days," Warriors coach Stephen Kearney told warriros.kiwi.

"We're hopeful all three will be able to play."

Bodene Thompson has been named on the interchange bench while Erin Clark is also named in the 17 despite being dropped last week.

Isaiah Papali'i drops to the reserves, where veteran winger Manu Vatuvei is also named.
