Toronto Wolfpack cut ties with Taylor, Moimoi

Toronto Wolfpack have cut ties with former NRL cult figures Dave Taylor and Fuifui Moimoi before the start of the English Championship competition.

Toronto Wolfpack coach Paul Rowley confirmed to NRL.com the pair were two of three players along with Ryan Bailey who are no longer with the club.

"They have all left the club with mutual consent," Rowley said. "That's all I can say as far as we're concerned. For legal reasons we can't say much more."

The Wolfpack are in Portugal on a pre-season camp. Taylor made his NRL debut for the Broncos in 2006 and later joined the South Sydney Rabbitohs and Gold Coast Titans.

He returned to the NRL last season for the Canberra Raiders after a stint in the English Super League with the Catalans Dragons.

Moimoi, who had a cult following during his time at the Parramatta Eels, played with Toronto last year after two seasons with Leigh Centurions following his time in the NRL.
