The Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs have confirmed the signing of Mosese Suli from the Wests Tigers on a three-year deal.

The 19-year-old who has 16 first-grade games to his name will begin training at his new club immediately after recovering from ankle surgery.

Suli, a product of Westfield Sports High School and Fairfield United Juniors, made his international debut with Tonga in May and plays at centre or on the wing.

"It was a big call for me, but I thought it was the best for myself and the club. It was really tough for me and I didn't think it would come to this, but I guess it's what's best for my footy career," he told NRL.com on Wednesday.

"The ankle is going really well. I had surgery, but I have recovered well. I have been given the all-clear and I'm ready to get back on the field."
