6’ Another error to the Knights, this time deep in their own half gives Storm a set of six, only 10 metres from the line.

7' TRY STORM! A brilliant pass out of dummy half by Brandon Smith to Dale Finucane who scores under the posts. A play that Brings back memories of THAT moment in last year’s Grand Final.

12’ Try Newcastle. A Storm error on our own 40m line sees the Knights take the ball up-field and answer back two tackles later through Lachlan Fitzgibbon. Kalyn Ponga slots the conversion to make it 6-all.

15’ A try beckoned for Melbourne down the left sideline but a knock on sees the chance go begging just 15m from the line.

22’ Knights defence repels an early set of six on their own line.

28’ Sam Kasiano onto the field for his first taste of action as a Melbourne Storm player.

31’ Try to Newcastle. Mitchell Pearce plays a grubber kick that finds Ponga under the posts. The youngster converts to give his side a 12-6 lead.

36' TRY to STORM! Cameron Munster with a clever grubber kick to Tim Glasby who beats all others to ground the ball. Conversion stays right to leave the scores at 12-10.

40’ Try to Newcastle. Ken Sio with the diving effort in the corner. Their conversion goes wide though.

41' Christian Welch make his return to the field for the first time since injuring his knee in Round 9 last year. Great to have you back Welchy!

43' Try to Newcastle. Another grubber kick seems them once again score next to the posts. Conversion gives them a 22-10 lead.

48' The Knights charge again at the Storm line but the purple wall stands tall.

52' Nelson Asofa-Solomona goes up for the high ball! Just misses it. An audition for the wing perhaps?

58' TRY STORM! Billy Walters passes off to Kenny Bromwich who chews up the remaining 20 metres to score. Joe Stimson slots the conversion to make it 22-16.

67' Justin Olam you beauty! He collects a loose ball, gives 'don't argues' to three defenders before running over to score!

69' Joe Stimson converts and we are all square at 22-all at AAMI Park

72' Great tackle by Brandon Smith forces the turnover! We have the ball back on halfway with a big chance to take the lead.

74' Olam goes within a fingernail of scoring again but the touchline just beats him

78' The Knights thought they had scored, only to be denied by a forward pass

80' Try to Newcastle. A shattering finish as the Knights find a way over in the final minute to snatch a four-point victory.
