The New Zealand Warriors haven't just won a mightily impressive four straight games to start their season for the first time in their history.
They've done it with three games away from home, and that run of three straight away wins is just their sixth streak of three or more consecutive away wins in their history – and their first since 2011.
That run came back in 2011 with a halves pairing of James Maloney and Brett Seymour (statistically one of the more successful combinations in the club's history) while current back-row veteran Simon Mannering was still playing in the centres.
They had a run of three away wins the year before too (although one of those was a Christchurch game) and prior to that they hadn't won three away games on the bounce since 2003 (which included two finals matches).
Five straight wins away in 2002 – the year of their first grand final appearance – and six straight in their debut 1995 season are their only other two instances of away streaks and their only two away win streaks of more than three games.
