Here are the 10 key moments from State of Origin game one between NSW and Queensland at the MCG.
13th minute: Blues captain Boyd Cordner is held over the try-line by a desperate Maroons defence. Moments later James Maloney booted a penalty goal to give Brad Fittler's men a 2-0 lead.
Tedesco scores Blues' first try in Origin I
21st minute: NSW fullback James Tedesco makes the advantage eight points after a break up the middle from teammate Damien Cook. The electric hooker found Maloney who then drew fullback Michael Morgan before sending Tedesco to the line untouched. 8-0 Blues.
27th minute: Queensland hit back via Valentine Holmes. Maloney gambled with a long pass which the world's best winger intercepted with ease, who then sprinted 80 metres to make the score 8-6 to the Blues.

36th minute: Ben Hunt puts in a grubber behind the Blues line, Josh Addo-Carr and Dane Gagai battle for possession. The officials rule the ball went dead off Gagai.
40th minute: 8-6 to NSW at half-time in a high quality encounter.
42nd minute: Dane Gagai gives Queensland the lead for the first time after pouncing on an inch perfect Ben Hunt grubber. Holmes nails the conversion from the sideline to make the score 12-8.
47th minute: The Blues hit back by rising centre Latrell Mitchell. Tedesco's classy double pump in the lead up was crucial. Maloney misses the conversion to leave a 12-12 scoreline.
49th minute: NSW go back to back. A pinpoint Maloney bomb finds Tom Trbojevic, who wins the aerial duel against Holmes before planting the ball down. 18-12 Blues.
68th minute: Josh Addo-Carr find the stripe on debut for NSW. Yet another line break from man of the match Tedesco sees the ball eventually find its way to Maloney who then fed the 'Fox.' Maloney missed the conversion. 22-12 Blues.
80th minute: NSW prove too strong, running out 22-12 winners in front of 87,122 fans at the MCG.
