A thousand Sydney Roosters fans gathered at Allianz Stadium to celebrate their 2018 premiership heroes after a show-shopping 21-6 victory over the Melbourne Storm in the NRL grand final on Sunday.
Roosters fans continued the festivities as the team carried the Telstra Premiership trophy through a roaring crowd.
Coach Trent Robinson thanked the crowd for the support they've shown, while behind him you could see the pride in the boys' eyes at being able to deliver the trophy to their fans.
"This is a dream that we fight for every day," Robinson said.
"We worked so hard for this since day one - there's 16 teams that fight to get to this position and it took a lot of belief from November 1 onward.
"I know a lot of people had to travel far and wide to come and get to our games which makes me very proud.
"Today I know you guys are coming out here to thank us but we want to thank you."
The grand final win handed the Roosters a 14th title. They are third behind St George (15) and South Sydney (21).
"I definitely knew throughout the year that we could take the premiership out and I'm so proud for our club that we won," Robinson told NRL.com.
"Although, we knew that we had to improve some things and we set about doing that and we never stopped learning and saying 'okay we like that but let's add another layer and another layer', so that's what we continued to do right until the last week.

"I was really happy that we got to play Melbourne last night, I feel like over the last few years it's the two strongest clubs, not just teams, that got to compete."
Robinson said the premiership was not just the result of the 17 players that took the field at ANZ Stadium on Sunday night but everyone that has been involved in some capacity along the way.
"There is 50 or 60 people that work in that office and everyone plays their part," Robinson said.
"Everybody that contributes in those doors that's what earns you a premiership, there's not one person that stands out.
"There's not a coach there's a group of coaches, there's not just one physio there's a group of them and there's not one player on the field there's a group of 36 that train."
