
He finished fifth on the NRL try-scoring charts in the 2018 regular season but Melbourne Storm speedster Josh Addo-Carr is the most widely tipped player to be his club's top try-scorer in 2019.
NRL.com has asked fans who they expect to be the leading try-scorer at all 17 clubs next season, and the fastest man in the league had 79% of the Storm vote at the time of writing.
That put him just ahead of Manly fullback Tom Tbrojevic (78%), while David Fusitu'a – the Telstra Premiership's top try-scorer last season – had 65% of the Warriors vote, tied with Parramatta Eels recruit Blake Ferguson.
At Canberra, Nick Cotric had 55% of the vote with fellow winger Jordan Rapana set to miss the early months of the season following shoulder surgery.
The most wide open races are at the Bulldogs and Sharks, with five players in double figures for voting at each club.
