Sharks young gun Briton Nikora has accepted the early guilty plea on a dangerous throw charge from Thursday night's game against the Panthers and will miss one game. 

Charged with a grade one dangerous throw for a tackle of Villiame Kikau in the first half of the Sharks win last week, the base penalty was 100 points however with loading from a lower-grade incident, Nikora will be forced to sit out the game with the Broncos on Saturday night. 

After discussions with legal representatives and in considering the video evidence, the Sharks announced Nikora would take the early plea and miss the week with 12 carryover points. 

Wests Tigers halfback Luke Brooks has avoided a ban after entering an early guilty plea to a dangerous throw on Parramatta's Reed Mahoney.

Manly centre Brad Parker has received a $1150 fine after being charged with a grade-one contrary conduct charge for tripping. 

Meanwhile, Storm prop Nelson Asofa-Solomona was charged with contrary conduct against Roosters prop Jared Waerea-Hargreaves in the Roosters' 21-20 victory on Friday night and has been fined $1350.
