Roosters: A late change, with Latrell Mitchell moving back to his preferred centre position and Lachlan Lam promoted from the bench to the starting side. Jake Friend got through his side's final training session and will play, while Siosiua Taukeiaho (back) is also good to go. Victor Radley was switched to lock to allow Friend to return in his customary hooker role. Lindsay Collins and Sam Verrills were cut an hour prior to kick-off, while Faamausili and Brock Lamb were omitted on Wednesday.

Dragons: After initially naming the same 17-man team that beat Manly 12-10, coach Paul McGregor has made a surprise game-day change, moving Mikaele Ravalawa and Blake Lawrie to the bench. Zac Lomax will start on the wing, while Jacob Host is the new starting lock. Jai Field and Mitch Allgood were cut an hour before kick-off and Lachlan Timm and Jonus Pearsion were omitted on Wednesday. The Dragons hold bragging rights after a 24-8 triumph over the Roosters in last year's Anzac Day clash.

Storm: Christian Welch starts at prop relegating Nelson Asofa-Solomona to the bench. The only other change an hour before kick-off was Ryan Papenhuyzen added to the bench for Patrick Kaufusi. In the centres, Marion Seve replaces Curtis Scott.

Warriors: Roger Tuivasa-Sheck (hamstring), Blake Green (groin) and Solomone Kata (compassionate leave) are out, with Peta Hiku starting at fullback, Gerard Beale on the wing, Blake Ayshford and Patrick Herbert in the centres and Tohu Harris joining Chanel Harris-Tevita in the halves. Bulldogs: The Bulldogs will go into the match 1-17. Nick Meaney (finger) and Adam Elliott (concussion) will play. Marcelo Montoya and Renouf Toomaga were the players dropped an hour before kick-off. Bulldogs captain Josh Jackson is aiming for his 50th win at ANZ Stadium. Christian Crichton and Fa'amanu Brown were omitted 24 hours before kick-off.

Cowboys: The Cowboys will start 1-17 with Tom Opacic and Mitchell Dunn the two players dropped an hour before kick-off. Jason Taumalolo was listed in the reserves on Tuesday but will not be returning early from a knee injury. John Asiata will play his 100th NRL game. Corey Jensen and Taumalolo were the two men dropped off the extended reserves list on Thursday.

Panthers: Penrith will start the match 1-17. Jarome Luai and Kaide Ellis were the two players dropped from the squad an hour before kick-off. Dylan Edwards is set for a consecutive week in the Canterbury Cup after being relegated from the reserves list 24 hours before kick-off. Tyrell Fuimaono was the other player cut on Thursday. Penrith have won three of their past four games against the Rabbitohs at Panthers Stadium. 

Rabbitohs: In a late change that has been used in recent weeks Junior Tatola will start the match with George Burgess moving back to the interchange bench. Other than the positional switch, Souths are 1-17. After Connor Tracey and Dean Britt were omitted on Thursday evening, Bayley Sironen and Mawene Hiroti were left out an hour before kick-off. Souths captain Sam Burgess has scored four tries in his past four games against the Panthers.
