The Broncos are not expecting boom forward Tevita Pangai jnr to be charged after he was put on report for a tackle on Titans winger Phillip Sami.
Pangai was sin-binned in the 27th minute at Cbus Super Stadium after chasing through a kick and being pushed in the back by a Titans defender before collecting Sami high after he ducked.
Sami stayed on the field for the rest of the first half but did not return after the break.
Pangai would be a massive loss for the Broncos against the Melbourne Storm at Suncorp Stadium on Friday night but coach Anthony Seibold said he expected the 23-year-old to be available for selection.
“I thought it should have been a scrum and a feed to us. Tevita didn’t hit him before the ball landed and Sami didn’t go off,” Seibold said after his side's 34-12 win.
“I don’t think he will be charged.”
The Broncos have injury concerns with Alex Glenn, who played centre against the Titans, not returning for the second half after suffering a groin strain.
“We will know a little bit more within 48 hours,” Seibold said of Glenn’s injury.
Veteran forward Matt Gillett also missed the Titans match with a lower back injury but the Broncos are expecting him to be fit to face the Storm. They will also welcome 19-year-old prop Thomas Flegler back after he served a one-match suspension and missed the Titans clash.

The Broncos’ finals destiny is now in their own hands after moving to outright eighth position on 19 points.
“We’ve worked really hard to give ourselves a chance but we are not getting carried away,” Seibold said.
“We are only three-quarters of the way through the season. We didn’t get too pessimistic or down on ourselves when people were bagging us and we aren’t going to get too carried away with ourselves now.”
After another strong defensive display the Broncos have attacking weapons Anthony Milford and Kotoni Staggs both hitting top form at the right time of the year.
Milford scored a dashing solo try and had one line break, one line break assist and a try assist while running for 201 metres in a dominant attacking display. Staggs scored his second double in as many weeks and was a constant threat at right centre.

“Kotoni has been pretty consistent for most of the season. For whatever reason we’ve had to flip him from right to left and left to right… but he’s a right centre,” Seibold said.
“He’s a right-hand carry and left-hand fend. It has always been his best position. He was doing a task for the team by playing on the left [earlier in the season] but he never whinged about it.”
