The DrinkWise Try of the Week for round one of the Telstra Premiership has been decided, with Brisbane forward David Fifita coming out on top.

His solo effort against North Queensland beat out a strong field. He attracted an impressive 59% of the vote.

Fellow Bronco Jamayne Isaako also earned a nomination for his effort in the win over North Queensland.

Sharks winger SioneĀ Katoa was also in the running for his spectacular effort against Souths, as was Stephen Crichton's try when he scored with his first touch from a Josh Mansour kick in Penrith's win over the Roosters.
