The NRL Appeals Committee today issued its decision in respect of applications for leave to appeal brought by South Sydney Player Latrell Mitchell and Melbourne Storm Player Josh Addo-Carr.

Mr Mitchell and Mr Addo-Carr were issued with penalties for bringing the Game into disrepute following incidents relating to COVID-19 restrictions.  Each was fined $50,000 (with 60 percent suspended for 12 months) and suspended for one match (suspended for 12 months).

The Appeals Committee has refused the application for leave to appeal brought by each Player.

The NRL thanked the Committee for its consideration of the matters.
