Despite a shock loss to the Bulldogs, Knights forwards David Klemmer and Mitch Barnett still recorded huge numbers to win spots in the VB Hard Earned team of the week.
Klemmer and Barnett produced the top two individual scores of Round 11 on the Hard Earned index with 117 and 113 respectively.
Their team came in for harsh criticism from coach Adam O'Brien after the 18-12 loss but Klemmer did his best to turn the tide with an unbelievable 80-minute, 57-tackle (zero missed), 198-metre effort.
Barnett wasn't far behind, producing 59 tackles (five missed), 106 metres and five busts.
Canterbury prop Aiden Tolman notched the third-highest index score of the round with 111, scoring a try to go with 48 tackles and 201 metres.
Each player's VB Hard Earned index score is calculated by doubling their total runs and adding a point for every tackle, offload, decoy, support, charge down and tackle break.
Negative plays lower the index score. One point is taken off per missed tackle, while errors and penalties cost four points. Being sin-binned results in eight points being subtracted.
The tough slog in the wet on Sunday produced some big numbers across the board and overall nine of the 13 spots in the team of the week (and all six forward spots) came from that game.
Lachlan Fitzgibbon (99) was also impressive while Knights playmakers Mitch Pearce (67) and Kalyn Ponga (84) both earned a spot.
Eels half Dylan Brown earned a score of 74 with his defence (28 tackles and none missed) even more impressive than his running game (114 metres and two busts). Warriors backs Ken Maumalo and Adam Pompey both earned starts in the backline along with Dragon Euan Aitken.
On the overall leaderboard, there is now a tie at the top, with Jake Trobojevic and Payne Haas locked on 1001 points.
