NRL Chief Executive Officer Andrew Abdo has congratulated Sydney Roosters player Josh Morris on reaching the 300-game milestone.

Morris will become the 41st player to reach the milestone when the Roosters meet Canberra at GIO Stadium on Saturday night.

Morris will be the second player to achieve the landmark in 2020 following team-mate Mitchell Aubusson, who joined the 300-Club in Round 13.

Morris, who has played with St George Illawarra, the Bulldogs, the Sharks and the Roosters, will be presented the match ball by Mr Abdo following Saturday night’s game.

“Josh has had an incredible career and has had success at each of the Clubs he has been an integral part of,” Mr Abdo said.

“His performance keeps getting better.  He has been exceptional this season and one of the key reasons for the Roosters’ success.

“Josh has made a positive impact wherever he has played – from his Clubs, to his 15 games for NSW and his six Test matches for Australia.

“On behalf of the game I congratulate him on this rare achievement.”
