The most extraordinary NRL Telstra Premiership season in history has been given a fitting culmination with two teams from outside the top four competing in the Preliminary Finals for the first time in more than a decade.

The Melbourne Storm, Canberra Raiders, Penrith Panthers and South Sydney Rabbitohs will vie for Premiership honours over the next fortnight in what has shaped as the most entertaining finals series in recent memory.

With the confirmed schedule for Week Three of the Premiership, Melbourne Storm will take on Canberra Raiders at Suncorp Stadium on Friday night, while minor premiers Penrith Panthers will clash with the Rabbitohs on Saturday night at ANZ Stadium.

The last time two teams featured in the Preliminary Finals from outside the top four was 2009.

The NRL Telstra Women’s Premiership Week Three matches will be staged as part of a triple header on Saturday at ANZ Stadium.

Tickets are currently on sale for the Storm-Raiders clash via www.nrl.com/tickets from $15.

Tickets will be on sale for the Panthers-Rabbitohs match to Ticketed Club Members at 10am on Monday (October 12), while tickets for non-ticketed members will be on sale at 1pm and for NRL Account Holders 4pm on Monday. Tickets will be on sale to General Public at 10am on Tuesday (October 13) for the ANZ Stadium triple header.
