Warriors star Evania Pelite recorded the fastest speed in round two of the NRL Telstra Women's Premiership with her sideline effort in the dying stages of Saturday's loss to the Roosters.

Pelite made it two tries in two appearances to continue her successful stint in rugby league with her effort to get past rugby sevens teammate Charlotte Caslick in the 59th minute stealing the show in an otherwise disappointing afternoon for the Warriors.

Pelite clocked a speed of 30.2km/h – slightly below last week's top efforts from Ellia Green and Corban McGregor, who keep their fastest-ever NRLW claims alive for at least another week.

Roosters winger Brydie Parker came in a close second with a 29.5km/h recorded in the same play attempting to run Pelite down in the chase.

Broncos centre Jayme Fressard and Warriors winger Madison Bartlett rounded out the top three to record equal speeds of 28.7km/h for their respective sides.

Fressard, who hobbled from the field with a knee injury in the second half, hit her top speed in the 19th minute with a line break through the middle during the side's 18-4 win over the Dragons.

The Central Coast product finished the game with 101 metres from 11 carries in just her second appearance since joining the Broncos this year.

Bartlett's return to the wing after a stint in the back row allowed the Kiwi Ferns representative into more open space to help equal Fressard with a speed of 28.7km/h of her own during the side's loss to the Roosters.
