A weekend of mayhem on the injury front disrupted plenty of coaches while David Fifita emerged as a genuine captaincy option with a devastating performance against the Cowboys.

Winners

David Fifita powered his way to 92 in the final game of the round with 11 busts, four offloads and a try. Plenty of people captained the hulking Titans edge forward in the absence of Nathan Cleary this week to huge reward.

Ryan Sutton (89) is in just 0.33% of teams but got through a ton of work amid Canberra's injury carnage while the same game featured an absolutely vintage performance from Roger Tuivasa-Sheck (88, including the match-winning try-save).

Cameron Munster (81) did everything bar win the game for the Storm against Penrith, Daly Chery-Evans (78) showed he will again be an elite Fantasy HLF regardless of Manly's form this year while Broncos centre Herbie Farnworth (74) had a breakout game.

Kodi Nikorima, Matt Burton (both 73), Andrew McCullough (71), Adam Elliott and Jamayne Isaako (both 70) rounded out the 70-plus scores.

Jake Turpin (66) bounced back and didn't lose any minutes to Tom Dearden, with teammate Anthony Milford (56) also brushing off a poor round two score in Brisbane's win over the Dogs.

Jayden Brailey (66) didn't quite hit the heights of the previous fortnight but remains a must-have, Brandon Smith (64) scored a try for his best tally of the year, and the cashie of the week Josh Schuster exceeded all expectations with 63 playing as a left edge forward.

Sean O'Sullivan (50) will be a popular buy this week, while early season cash-cows Daine Laurie (51), Stefano Utoikamanu (48) and Jordan Riki (46) will get price bumps this week.

Get Caught Up: Round 3

Losers

There was a devastating blow for the Roosters with Luke Keary (48) gone for the season after rupturing an ACL; he is a sell for the 10% of coaches that currently own him.

A similar number of coaches will also need to sell his halves partner Lachlan Lam (30), who is set to miss six weeks with a medial injury.

Dragons skipper Ben Hunt (33) had been in superb form for the Dragons and in Fantasy but will miss at least a few weeks with a fractured fibula.

Mitchell Moses (18) had been putting up keeper scores in the opening fortnight and started brightly against the Sharks but an early head knock ended his night very early while Dylan Edwards (43) was on track for a huge score but could not play the second half after suffering a broken hand.

There were a few quiet scores not related to injuries; Damien Cook's 47 was only a huge blow if you captained him, Jacob Liddle's (32) scoring came down with no try this week, and Joe Ofahengaue (27) shapes as a sell as a bench prop despite an impressive round one score.
