The Panthers lost just their second match since round two of the 2020 season last weekend, and there seems some chance another defeat is on the way.

On balance, the tipsters at NRL.com still expect them to win Friday night's match against the Sharks, but they aren't the prohibitive favourites they usually are.

In other matches of note, the out-of-sorts Raiders have been warmly backed against the Broncos. The same applies to an Eels team that will face a Wests Tigers outfit that has shown some good form of late.

Of the other matches to be played this weekend, both the Roosters and Rabbitohs are unanimous selections.

On the tipping leaderboard, NRL Teams host Niav Owens and Fantasy NRL mystery man Lone Scout remain in a share of top spot. They enjoy a three-point lead over the chasing pack.
