St George Illawarra have signed Warriors front-rower Jamayne Taunoa-Brown on a short-term deal, effective immediately.

The two-time Indigenous All Stars representative will remain at the Dragons until the end of July.

Taunoa-Brown has played 28 first grade games with the Warriors to date, and will be an important addition to the Dragons as the club navigates one-week suspensions for the dozen players breached by the NRL last week.

Taunoa-Brown joined the Dragons training on Monday morning.

St George Illawarra general manager of football Ben Haran expressed his appreciation to the Warriors in allowing Taunoa-Brown to join the Dragons.

”We have worked with the Warriors in recent days to make this happen and wish to thank them for their cooperation in allowing us to sign Jamayne," Haran said.

"It's an added benefit for the Warriors that we can provide Jamayne with game time he might not have seen otherwise over the coming period.

"There is no doubt that Jamayne is up to the challenges that the NRL presents and look forward to having him feature against the Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles this Friday night."
