James Tedesco was everywhere for the Roosters in Sunday's 40-22 win over the Dragons, racking up a mighty VB Hard Earned index score for his efforts.

The champion custodian was the only back to rank in the top 15 for round 22, finishing third with a score of 95.

While Warriors prop Addin Fonua-Blake (103) and Roosters lock Isaac Liu (98) edged out Tedesco, the star fullback tallied more runs than anyone else with 23 and made eight-plus metres 15 times.

Tedesco, who busted an incredible 14 tackles as well as setting up four tries, was crowned the VB Hard Earned Player of State of Origin in July after leading the Blues to a series victory.

Elsewhere, Knights lock Connor Watson showed his commitment won't waver despite having inked a deal to return to the Roosters next year, recording an index score of 88 in a win over the Bulldogs.

Watson completed 41 tackles without a miss, also registering 11 carries, two tackle busts and five line engagements.

Panthers forward Scott Sorensen has made the most of his opportunity, scoring 82 off the bench against the Rabbitohs with 26 tackles and 19 runs - making eight-plus metres nine times.

On the overall leaderboard, it's Isaiah Papali'i's title to lose with two rounds to go as the Eel holds a comfortable lead over Wests Tigers middle Alex Twal, who has surpassed Penrith's James Fisher-Harris.

The likes of Manly's Martin Taupau, Newcastle's Mitch Barnett, Cronulla's Toby Rudolf and Liu are still in the mix for a podium finish.
