The Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs have formed a partnership with local community partners to help increase vaccination rates by providing a safe and easy drive-thru vaccination process at Belmore Sports Ground, that will officially begin today.
With a high level of COVID cases in the Canterbury-Bankstown LGA, the aim of the Drive-Thru Vaccination Hub is to increase vaccination rates through a simple and safe process. This involves local residents from the Canterbury-Bankstown LGA, being able to book a vaccination time and then drive to Belmore Sports Ground to have their vaccination shot.
It is hoped that the ease and safety of this process will encourage people to come and get vaccinated.
The Bulldogs have worked with a number of partners, including Federal and State Governments, Local MP’s, the City of Canterbury-Bankstown, State Emergency Services, the Canterbury League Club and Dr. Jamal Rifi to facilitate this initiative.
Details of the Drive-Thru Hub are:
Start: Friday 17 September, 2021 | Finish: Friday 29 October, 2021
Operating Days: Friday to Sunday
