With 99 per cent of the NRL season and both State of Origin formats now in the books, one match remains - the biggest of them all.

South Sydney and Penrith meet in the first grand final to be played in Brisbane, and for tipsters one last chance remains.

It could be the difference between first and second or last and second-last. It may be as simple as making sure your No.1 tipping foe finishes behind you.

So, for the last time in 2021, here are the tips from the experts at NRL.com.

On the NRL.com tipping panel leaderboard, there is a two-way tie heading into last game of the season.

And, with both Alicia Newton and the Lone Scout tipping the Panthers to win, we have asked them to pick a margin to break the deadlock. Newton has predicted 13+ while the mysterious Scout has taken the 1-12 option.

At the other end of the standings, premiership-winning duo Jamie Soward and Robbie Farah are also sweating on the grand final result.

They've stuck loyal to their former clubs with Soward needing Penrith to win and Farah backing the Bunnies to avoid the tipping panel's wooden spoon.

Tipping note: Due to the rescheduling of NRLW fixtures, the 2021 NRL Tipping Competition will now NOT include the NRLW fixtures and revert to the same scenario as prior years where the nine matches of the NRL Finals Series count as round 26 and also as a prize month.

So, make sure you tip all the way to grand final day of the NRL season.
