NRL Team Lists: Round 19

Eels v Broncos, Thursday 7.50pm at CommBank Stadium

Eels: Ryan Matterson's return from a rib injury sees Marata Niukore revert to the bench and Ky Rodwell drop to 18th Man. Bryce Cartwright has also recovered from a rib injury and is listed among the reserves.

Broncos: Corey Oates, Kurt Capewell and Pat Carrigan return from their post-Origin rest but Selwyn Cobbo (head knock) remains sidelined. Payne Haas (shoulder) has been named for his first game since Round 16 and Cory Paix (head knock) also returns. Jake Turpin has been promoted to start at hooker with Billy Walters sidelined by a hip injury. The return of the big guns sees Keenan Palasia, Thomas Flegler and Kobe Hetherington shifted to the bench and Delouise Hoeter, Zac Hosking and Rhys Kennedy drop to the reserves.

Dragons v Sea Eagles, Friday 6pm at Netstrata Jubilee Stadium

Dragons: Moses Mbye moves into the starting side in place of Moses Suli, who suffered an ankle injury against the Roosters. Jayden Sullivan takes Mbye's place on the bench. Tariq Sims returns from suspension on the bench so Aaron Woods drops to 18th Man. 

Sea Eagles: With Jake Trbojevic sidelined by COVID, Toafofoa Sipley comes into the starting side and Taniela Paseka joins the interchange bench.

Knights v Roosters, Friday 7.55pm at McDonald Jones Stadium

Knights: Winger Dom Young is listed among the reserves as he races the clock to overcome a rib injury. Hymel Hunt has been named on the wing for his first game of the season. Tyson Frizell (ribs) and Edrick Lee (foot) also suffered injuries against Manly but have been named to play. Simi Sasagi (ribs) is out and his place on the bench is taken by Brodie Jones. Utility Kurt Mann also joins the bench after missing the loss to Manly with a leg injury.

Roosters: Luke Keary (concussion symptoms) and Jared Waerea-Hargreaves (hamstring) are back on deck for the Roosters. Joey Manu goes back to the centres. Mid-season recruit Matt Lodge comes into the starting side to fill the void left by Siosiua Taukeiaho (cheekbone). Nat Butcher moves to the second row to cover for Sitili Tupouniua (knee). Terrell May is the new face on the bench.

Raiders v Warriors, Saturday 3pm at GIO Stadium

Raiders: Jordan Rapana has been suspended for two matches so Nick Cotric takes over on the wing in his return from a leg injury. James Schiller is out with an ankle injury, replaced on the other wing by Albert Hopoate. Skipper Elliott Whitehead (knee) also returns after missing the Storm game so Corey Harawira-Naera goes to to the bench.  

Warriors: A couple of significant changes in the spine with fullback Reece Walsh bumped to the bench and mid-year signing Daejarn Asi preferred at five-eighth ahead of rookie Ronald Volkman, who was rested last week. Chanel Harris-Tavita gets the nod at fullback after starring there against Wests Tigers in Round 16, while veteran Dallin Watene-Zelezniak returns on the wing in place of Ed Kosi, after sitting out Round 18 with COVID.

Panthers v Sharks, Saturday 5.30pm at BlueBet Stadium

Panthers: All seven of the Origin players rested last week are back and named to start, which means there’s no room for Lindsay Smith, Soni Luke, Kurt Falls or Robert Jennings in the 22-man squad. Matt Eisenhuth and Mitch Kenny go back to the interchange after starting against Wests Tigers.

Sharks: Siosifa Talakai is back in the centres after being a late withdrawal last week due to a shoulder injury picked up in the Origin decider. Connor Tracey shifts to the wing in place of Sione Katoa, who will miss the remainder of the season following shoulder surgery. Briton Nikora's return from suspension sees Teig Wilton revert to the bench and Jesse Colquhoun move to the reserves.

Rabbitohs v Storm, Saturday 7.35pm at Accor Stadium

Rabbitohs: Captain Cameron Murray returns after missing the Bulldogs game due to a head knock sustained in Origin III and is joined in the squad by Blues team-mate Damien Cook who was rested last week. Davvy Moale and Siliva Havili go back to the bench and Daniel Suluka-Fifita to 18th Man. Jed Cartwright has been promoted to the starting side in the centres with Taane Milne dropping out. 

Storm: The loss of Ryan Papenhuyzen to a season-ending knee injury sees Nick Meaney shift from wing to fullback. Tyran Wishart is the new winger and Grant Anderson joins the bench having recovered from an elbow injury. 

Bulldogs v Titans, Sunday 2pm at CommBank Stadium

Bulldogs: Josh Addo-Carr (ankle) has been named and will be monitored during the week. Aaron Schoupp is listed as 18th Man as he looks to return from COVID while Matt Dufty is among the reserves.

Titans: A huge boost for the Titans with Jayden Campbell named on the bench for his first game since Round 13 after recovering from a hamstring injury. Skipper Tino Fa'asuamaleaui returns to the starting side at lock and Erin Clark goes to the bench. Veteran Kevin Proctor (biceps) is again listed among the reserves last week as he nears a return. 

Cowboys v Wests Tigers, Sunday 4.05pm at Queensland County Bank Stadium

Cowboys: Maroons trio Val Holmes, Tom Dearden and Jeremiah Nanai are back on deck after being rested in Round 18 while Murray Taulagi (COVID protocols) is also back. Nanai's return pushes Luciano Leilua to prop and Jamayne Taunua-Brown to the bench. Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow goes to the bench and Ben Hampton, Connelly Lemuelu and Tomas Chester drop out.

Tigers: James Roberts and David Nofoaluma are listed among the reserves as they look to return after missing the Panthers game due to illness. Brent Naden is back on the wing after serving a four-game ban. Veteran James Tamou moves into the starting side in his 300th NRL game, pushing Zane Musgrove to the bench. Tyrone Peachey and Alex Seyfarth are the new faces on the bench.
