Storm: Tom Eisenhuth's season is over after he suffered a syndesmosis injury in the tackle that saw Lindsay Collins suspended for dangerous contact. Chris Lewis is the new man on the bench. Felise Kaufusi returns to the starting side so Tui Kamikamica goes to the bench. Josh King has been named to start at lock and Brandon Smith is on the interchange but they could well swap on game day.

Scott Drinkwater has been named at fullback and Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow at five-eighth but 'Hammer' will go back to the bench should Dearden play. Panthers: Coach Ivan Cleary has chosen to rest Dylan Edwards, Brian To'o, Stephen Crichton, Izack Tago, Taylan May, Jarome Luai, Moses Leota, James Fisher-Harris, Viliame Kikau and Isaah Yeo while Api Koroisau (ankle) and Spencer Leniu (shoulder) are also out. Liam Martin is named among the reserves and may make a return after he was rested in Round 24. Scott Sorensen is back from a calf injury in the second row while regular bench players Matt Eisenhuth and Mitch Kenny move into the starting side. Tyrone Peachey gets another crack on the bench, Jacob Liddle goes to 18th Man and Kitione Kautoga is out. Halfback Luke Brooks' season is over due to the calf injury that has sidelined him since Round 19.

Raiders: Winger Nick Cotric returns from a groin injury so Albert Hopoate goes to 18th Man in the only change to the squad that downed Manly to move the Green Machine into the top eight.
