The top of the NRL's weekly Power Rankings remain unchanged heading into Round 14 with byes for the Panthers, Sharks and Storm ensuring all remained in the top three positions.

Brisbane's gritty win over the Warriors in New Zealand saw them climb four spots into fifth, as did Canberra after their win over the Rabbitohs, but the biggest move of the round belonged to Newcastle, who climbed six spots with their win over Manly.

The Knights' move into the top eight came at the expense of the Warriors – who fell five spots – and their counterparts in Round 13 in the Sea Eagles, who saw the equal biggest drop in the round as they dropped down to 14th.

Round 13: Brown keeps his eye on the target

South Sydney remain in the eight despite going down to the Raiders but the Eels are hot on their heels after a hard-fought victory over North Queensland moved them up two spots into ninth spot.

With the Sharks (2nd) facing off against the Broncos, and the Storm (3rd) and Dolphins (4th) both set for tough away games against the Cowboys and Warriors respectively in Round 14, the top of the Power Rankings could be in for a reshuffle next week as we tick over the halfway point of the NRL season.
