The Round 4 team lists have brought with them absolute chaos, with injuries galore and some of Fantasy's top players impacted.

Take a deep breath and digest the big news from a wild Team List Tuesday for Fantasy coaches.

NRL Fantasy teams analysis: Round 4

Roosters v Panthers, Thursday at Allianz Stadium

Roosters: With Lindsay Collins out with a hamstring injury, emerging MID gun Terrell May starts and his minutes will likely creep up closer to the hour mark after playing 52 last week. Still no room for EDG Siua Wong, who shapes as a sell after plenty jumped on him to start the year. James Tedesco and Dom Young are on fire right now with season averages of 63 and 60 respectively.

Panthers: Nathan Cleary's hamstring injury means Brad Schneider will have the No.7 jersey for at least the next two rounds. At $468k and with a break even of 33 Schneider's too expensive to be a money maker and is obviously not a keeper once Cleary is fit again. Izack Tago can't put a foot wrong right now and is averaging 61, while Isaah Yeo is once again an outstanding MID option with a 66 point average.

Rabbitohs v Bulldogs, Friday at Accor Stadium

Rabbitohs: Damien Cook (HOK, $733k) looks set to play big minutes this week, potentially even the full 80 as he did in Round 1, with Siliva Havili dropping out of the 17. Cameron Murray is named to start but owners would be wise to keep an eye on NRL.com Late Mail closer to kick-off, with whispers around that he's carrying an injury concern.

Bulldogs: Jacob Kiraz (WFB/CTR, $579k) will be a popular pick up this week after his brilliant showing in Round 3 that delivered 89 Fantasy points. Jaeman Salmon is continuing to tick over as a money maker and should make around $18k again if he meets projections against the Bunnies. Josh Addo-Carr has been included in the reserves and could replace Connor Tracey on the wing.

Broncos v Cowboys, Friday at Suncorp Stadium

Broncos: An ankle injury suffered at training has ruled out Brendan Piakura, who is owned by 44.4 percent of all teams, so Jaiyden Hunt comes into the starting side at second row, with Corey Oates named on the bench and a chance to play some back row. Adam Reynolds returns and bumps Jock Madden out, while Tristan Sailor (WFB, $550k) begins what will likely be at least a month-long stint at fullback with Reece Walsh out injured.

Cowboys: Popular cash cow Kulikefu Finefeuiaki scored 40 last week despite going off for a head injury assessment early on and now has a break even of just four. An 88 last week pushed Valentine Holmes past Izack Tago as the top CTR by average heading into Round 4 and he's still available for $11k less than his Panthers counterpart right now.

Dragons v Sea Eagles, Saturday at WIN Stadium

Dragons: Tom Eisenhuth continues to defy expectations and has now unseated Jack de Belin from his starting role, making the $521k EDG a potential trade in target this week. A try on his way to 46 points in Round 3 means Kyle Flanagan has plenty more money to make now, with a break even of 14. Jacob Liddle (HOK, $588k) returns in the No.9 jersey.

Sea Eagles: Ben Trbojevic, who suddenly has some question marks around him with a break even of 18, is safe in his spot again with no sign of Josh Schuster in the wider squad. Daly Cherry-Evans has a break even of 87 and is averaging under half that in 2024, so this might be the week to cut your losses and move off him. Toafofoa Sipley returns from suspension but at this stage hasn't been included in the 17.

Titans v Dolphins, Saturday at Cbus Super Stadium

Titans: One, and maybe two, huge Fantasy inclusions for the Gold Coast, with Jayden Campbell named at fullback and David Fifita listed as 18th man, for now. Campbell ($459k) has cut-price keeper potential at WFB this year and can be traded in now if you want him. Fifita on the other hand you can wait on, with his break even of 60 unlikely to be met in his first outing back, which might not even be Round 4 anyway. Keenan Palasia comes in to start following the loss of Tino Fa'asuamaleaui to a season-ending knee injury, but at this stage that doesn't change his Fantasy prospects and he remains a low-tier MID.

Dolphins: Isaiya Katoa (HLF, $421k) is set to again be the chief playmaker with Sean O’Sullivan left in the extended reserves. After hitting 57 in Round 2, there's potentially some real value in the second-year talent. CTR-eligible Euan Aitken has retained a starting back row spot after scoring 45 in his last game.

Warriors v Knights, Sunday at Go Media Stadium

Warriors: Great news for Roger Tuivasa-Sheck owners, with the fleet-footed star named at fullback rather than centre, which will boost his scoring potential significantly. Tohu Harris (MID, $752k) has played 80 minutes in two of the three rounds so far and scored over 60 on both of those occasions. Marata Niukore returns from injury and while he isn't Fantasy relevant right now, he could trigger a change in minutes for the middle rotation.

Knights: $549k EDG Kai Pearce-Paul is fast emerging as a genuine point of difference option after scoring a 61 last week, while HLF Tyson Gamble seemed to benefit from the absence of Jackson Hastings – who has again been left out of the 17 – scoring a season-high 57 against the Storm. HOK Jayden Brailey's price should drop again this week and if he performs like he did in Round 3 (scoring 23 points in 27 minutes) then he'll be one to watch once his time on the field starts to increase.

Sharks v Raiders, Sunday at PointsBet Stadium

Sharks: A middle forward crisis, with Dale Finucane (facial injury), Toby Rudolf (ankle) and Royce Hunt (calf) joining Braden Hamlin-Uele (hamstring) on the sidelines, is set to have a big impact in Fantasy. If you own Cameron McInnes it's very good news and he'll almost certainly have to play bigger minutes in Round 4, while for others like points-per-minute machine Tuku Hau Tapuha (MID, $250k), it means another shot at NRL level.

Raiders: Morgan Smithies owners can breathe a sigh of relief, with the $568k-MID keeping the starting lock role and 2023 Fantasy gun Corey Horsburgh left in the wider reserves. Early-season standout Zac Hosking is named on the bench again but still ended up still playing 60 minutes from the pine last week and produced a decent score of 48. While that might change in coming weeks, it means the EDG should have another couple of price rises in him.

Eels v Wests Tigers, Monday at CommBank Stadium

Eels: The cash cow alert is sounding after rookie Blaize Talagi (CTR, $261k) was named to replace Mitchell Moses in the halves, following his 42-point debut in the centres last week. With Moses set to miss up to eight weeks with a fractured foot, Talagi looks a buy and enters Round 4 with a break even of 0. Maika Sivo returns from suspension on the wing. Joey Lussick underwhelmed with a 28 last week, but in recent years middles have tended to have lower scores against the Sea Eagles, so he's a definite hold.

Wests Tigers: Lachlan Galvin has jumped in value by $103k in just two games and has a break even of -17 this week. Because of that he's still very much a viable money maker if you are among the 70-odd percent of teams who don't have him yet. Api Koroisau is cooking with gas to start the year, with consecutive scores of 58 and 74 meaning he is an excellent HOK option for those not wanting to go for one of the more expensive options, or anyone looking for a replacement for Harry Grant who is on a bye this week.
