NRL Late Mail: Round 4 - Matterson to lock, Cartwright out

The Eels have suffered a blow ahead of their Easter Monday clash against the Wests Tigers with forward Bryce Cartwright withdrawing due to a rib injury.

NRL Late Mail: Round 4

Eels v Wests Tigers, Monday 4.00pm at CommBank Stadium

Eels: A late change on game day sees Ryan Matterson join the starting side at lock with J'maine Hopgood reverting to the interchange. Bryce Cartwright (ribs) was ruled out on Sunday with Kelma Tuilagi joining the starting side. After an impressive debut in the centres last week, Blaize Talagi has been thrust into the hot seat at five-eighth following the loss of Mitchell Moses to a fractured foot. Powerhouse winger Maika Sivo returns from suspension, with Bailey Simonsson the 18th man after sitting out Round 3 with concussion.

Wests Tigers: No late changes on game day with Asu Kepaoa replacing Alex Twal (concussion) in the only change to last week's side that downed Cronulla. Justin Matamua is 18th man.
