Rabbitohs star Latrell Mitchell has taken centre-stage with a stunning performance to cap an epic comeback victory over the Broncos.

Brisbane led 14-0 at half-time before the South Sydney fullback took control of the contest in his return from suspension. Mitchell nailed a 50-metre field goal in the 78th minute to snap a 14-14 deadlock and put his team in front for the first time.

The fullback then scored in the final play of the game to secure a stunning 22-14 victory for the Rabbitohs at a wet Accor Stadium.

It was a tough night for the Broncos on multiple fronts, with Ben Hunt suffering a hamstring injury late in the second half.

The injury occurred while the five-eighth was chasing a kick and he will be sent for scans in the coming days. Even a minor strain will cast a cloud over his State of Origin ambitions.

South Sydney's come-from-behind victory came less than two hours after the Gold Coast Titans overturned a 20-point deficit to stun the Knights at McDonald Jones Stadium.

The Titans trailed 20-0 after 28 minutes, however they took control of the match soon after and ran in 24-straight points to finish over the top of their opponents.

A 78th minute AJ Brimson try secured the win and ensured the visitors tasted their first victory since Round 4.

There were injury concerns for both sides, with Iszac Fa'asuamaleaui failing a HIA and Greg Marzhew leaving the contest with a knee injury.

Rabbitohs v Broncos – Round 10, 2025

Full-time: Less than two hours after the Titans pulled off an epic comeback, the Rabbitohs have matched the feat with a come-from-behind victory of their own.

Latrell Mitchell try

Latrell Mitchell was the star in his return from suspension and he scored in the last play of the game to put the icing on a sensational victory. South Sydney trailed 14-0 at half-time before scoring 22 unanswered

A 2 pointer from half way!

points to stun the Broncos. Rabbitohs 22 - Broncos 14.

79th minute: Is there anything Latrell Mitchell can't do? The Rabbitohs fullback has just landed a field goal from the halfway line in one of the sweetest kicks you'll see. The ball never looked like missing and sailed straight over the black dot. South Sydney trailed 14-0 at half-time, they now lead 16-14. Rabbitohs 16 - Broncos 14

70th minute: We are all locked up at Accor Stadium with Latrell Mitchell kicking a penalty goal from straight in front to level the scores.

Brisbane are out on their feet and desperately hanging on, with five-eighth Ben Hunt suffering a hamstring injury. The Broncos are now out of interchanges and it will be up to the 13 men on the field to finish the game off if they want the two points. Rabbitohs 14 - Broncos 14

Latrell saves a try!

62nd minute: The Broncos have steadied the ship somewhat and halted the Rabbitohs momentum but they haven't been able to extend their margin.

Deine Mariner just came agonisingly close when he burst through the defensive line before taking on Latrell Mitchell in a gripping one on one battle. Mariner stepped to the outside and looked to have the jump on him, only for the South Sydney fullback to wrap him up around the legs and dragging him into touch. Rabbitohs 12 - Broncos 14

Latrell almost kicks it out of the stadium

50th minute: A roar has erupted at Accor Stadium as Jye Gray jogs on to the field. The livewire's injection into the contest at dummy half could prove to be a pivotal moment in the match.

Isaiah Tass Try

Gray wasn't directly involved, but moments later the Rabbitohs struck back to narrow the gap. Isaiah Tass charged over the top of his opposite man, Kotoni Staggs, before linking up with Fletcher Myers and later getting it back to score a crucial try. Suddenly the margin is just two as the rains starts to fall at Homebush. Rabbitohs 12 - Broncos 14.

43rd minute: South Sydney had to be the first to score and that's exactly what they've done. A penalty put the Rabbitohs on the attack, with the side shifting the ball to the left before going back to the right.

Siliva Havili Try

Five-eighth Jayden Sullivan almost went straight through when he threw a dummy, before a quick play the ball allowed Siliva Havili to burrow over from dummy half. Rabbitohs 6 - Broncos 14

Half-time: It was a topsy-turvy opening 40 minutes but the Broncos hold a comfortable advantage on the scoreboard. Both teams looked clunky at times throughout the first half, with the Rabbitohs struggling to capitalise in attacking territory.

Wayne Bennett will need to work his magic at half-time to ensure his side bursts out of the gates and promptly hits back in the early passages of the second half. Rabbitohs 0 - Broncos 14

Deine Mariner Try

35th minute: It's a regular occurrence these days but wingers flying through the air remains an impressive feat every time it happens. On this occasion it was Deine Mariner who dived towards the corner post to produce a spectacular put-down for Brisbane's second try of the night.

The finish came after a classy Selwyn Cobbo tap on that kept the ball alive and helped open up the space for the winger.

In other news, Payne Haas is receiving treatment for back tightness but the Broncos are confident he will return after the half-time break. Rabbitohs 0 - Broncos 14

25th minute: The match has developed into a back and forward contest, with both sides generating chances to attack. The defence, however, has been up to the task, with Brisbane edging further ahead thanks to an Adam Reynolds penalty goal. Rabbitohs 0 - Broncos 8.

Jordan Riki Try

15th minute: Brisbane's Jordan Riki has shown an impressive amount of restraint to avoid a double movement and cross for the first try of the match. The edge forward was dragged down just short of the line and thought about reaching out, before opting against it, only for momentum and a sliding Latrell Mitchell to push him over the line for the try. Rabbitohs 0 - Broncos 6

Kick-off: The Rabbitohs have enjoyed a dream start, with Selwyn Cobbo dropping a Jamie Humphreys bomb in the first minute of the match. Wayne Bennett's men, however were not able to capitalise and let the Broncos off the hook. Rabbitohs 0 - Broncos 0

Maguire "We've had good moments, but it's about building"

Late mail: The Rabbitohs will line up 1-17, with Tevita Tatola the 18th man, while Brisbane have made one change in their final team update. Brendan Piakura has shifted to the starting side, with edge forward Xavier Willison reverting to the bench.

In other team news, Latrell Mitchell will captain the side from fullback in his return from suspension so Jye Gray goes to the bench. Halfback Jamie Humphreys (hamstring) lines up for his first game since Round 5.

Bennett: "We've lost two, but got three back"

For the Broncos, Fletcher Baker returns from a knee injury to replace Jaiyden Hunt. Kotoni Staggs has scored six tries in nine games against the Rabbitohs.

Knights v Titans at McDonald Jones Stadium

Knights: Round 10

Titans: Round 10

Post-game press conferences: There were wildly different emotions in the two coaches boxes at the end of that one, so be sure to tune into the live stream to check out what Des Hasler and Adam O'Brien thought of a crazy match in Newcastle.

Knights v Titans – Round 10, 2025

Full-time: The Titans have pulled off a stunning 20-point comeback to snap a five-game losing streak. Des Hasler's side trailed 20-0 after just 30 minutes but they dominated the second half to reel off 24-straight points and prevail 24-20.

The Knights had one last chance to hit back in the final play of the game, only for Kalyn Ponga to spill the ball much to the displeasure of the fans at McDonald Jones Stadium. Knights 20 - Titans 24

AJ Brimson 2nd Try

78th minute: AJ Brimson has put the Titans in front with just two minutes left in the contest. Gold Coast attacked down the left flank yet again, with Alofiana Khan-Pereira and Brimson combining for another try.

This time the winger produced a grubber back in field and the five-eighth checked his run just enough to stay onside before winning the race to the ball. Knights 20 - Titans 24

AJ Brimson Try

66th minute: The Titans are coming. We saw some special attack from the Knights in the first half but this is just as impressive. A big attacking shift saw Alofiana Khan-Pereira charge for the corner before he was bundled into touch by the Knights cover defence. But the winger somehow managed to flip the ball back infield just before he stepped on the sideline and AJ Brimson gathered the ball to set up a grandstand finish.

The Knights led 20-0 after just 30 minutes but the lead has been whittled down to two with 13 minutes to play. Knights 20 - Titans 18.

62nd minute: The tables have well and truly turned in the second half, with the Titans dominating both territory and possession. The Knights have made multiple errors inside their own half to leave the door ajar for their opponents, leading to a frustrated Adam O'Brien in the process.

Newcastle, for the time being, are holding firm but the visitors are running downhill with plenty of energy as they look to finish over the top of their opponents. Knights 20 - Titans 12

Phillip Sami 2nd Try

45th minute: It's been a perfect start to the second half for the visitors, with Phil Sami crossing for his second to cut the deficit to eight. Newcastle have been poor after the break, making multiple errors to hand their opponents prime attacking territory. It took some time but the Titans eventually made them pay and they are back in this contest. It's Sami's 10th career double.

Gold Coast, however, have been dealt a blow with Iszac Fa'asuamaleaui ruled out for the remainder of the contest after failing an HIA at half-time. Knights 20 - Titans 12

Half-time: The Knights dominated the half in every statistical tally and their lead on the scoreboard reflects this. Gold Coast errors and penalties allowed Newcastle to build pressure and points eventually followed.

Adam O'Brien's side enters the sheds with 59% of possession, a 95% completion rate and nearly double the total running metres.

Such has been the visitors struggles, the Titans completed just nine attacking sets of six in an opening 40 featuring 21 missed tackles. Sami's try, however, gave the side a major boost and they will look to keep the momentum rolling after the break. Knights 20 - Titans 6

Phillip Sami Try

36th minute: The Titans have had limited opportunities with ball in hand but a Tino Fa'asuamaleaui offload provided a chance to Jayden Campbell to break through and they capitalised a couple of plays later when Phillip Sami crashed over.

While that was all happening, Gold Coast forward Chris Randall has left the field for an HIA.  Knights 20 - Titans 6

Mat Croker Try

29th minute: The points are flowing now for the Knights as they take advantage of a tired Titans side that has done a mountain of defensive work in the first half. Newcastle kept the ball alive with offloads creating a disjointed defensive line before Mat Croker steamed on to a pass and battled his way to the line. Knights 20 - Titans 0

Fletcher Sharpe Try

24th minute: Newcastle have struggled in attack this season but that is a special try. Attacking from near halfway, the Knights shifted left before Kalyn Ponga skipped across field to engage the defence. Bradman Best followed up with a superb flick pass to send Greg Marzhew down the sideline and Fletcher Sharpe finished it off. Knights 14 - Titans 0

Dylan Lucas Try

17th minute: The Knights have spent much of the opening exchanges peppering the Titans line and they've finally broken through. It was a simple try in the end, with Dylan Lucas breaking through an attempted Jayden Campbell to extend his side's lead. Knights 8 - Titans 0

Sharpe grabs an intercept

5th minute: Another high tackle, this time by Sam Verrills on Kalyn Ponga, has allowed the hosts to take an early lead as they look to apply some scoreboard pressure. Knights 2 - Titans 0

Kick-off: We are underway at McDonald Jones Stadium, with the Knights to have first use of the football. The hosts found form in Brisbane last week and they're out to continue rolling in Round 10. There has been some early drama with Titans captain Tino Fa'asuamaleaui put on report for a high shot on Leo Thompson.

Des: "It's back to business tonight"
