New year, new coach and new hope for the Gold Coast Titans this season, with the side undergoing a clean-out of their roster, hoping to also unearth some future stars.
In his first season as a head coach, Josh Hannay has rung in the changes, with some big names departing the club including David Fifita, Reagan Campbell-Gillard, Alofiana Khan-Pereira and Brian Kelly.
The new signings haven't been many, but have been made to boost their depth in key positions to help the overall balance of the team.
Unheralded Penrith recruit Siale Faeamani looks set to make an early NRL debut on the wing, while Max Feagai, who has moved over from the Dolphins, will be aiming to make the vacant centre spot his own.
AJ Brimson's 2025 try-scoring season
Halfback Lachlan Ilias has joined from the Dragons, but will be made to bide his time with Hannay keen to give his stars AJ Brimson and Jayden Campbell more time to settle into their roles in the halves.
Their forward pack remains one of their stronger factors and contains a number of international and State of Origin representatives, led by skipper Tino Fa'asuamaleaui and Moeaki Fotuaika.
An ACL injury to Ireland international Jaimin Jolliffe however will leave a big hole to fill, with the forwards otherwise lacking some size.
Enter rising youngster Cooper Bai, who showed what he can do on the big stage in his NRL debut in the last round of last season, capping that with some strong showings for the PNG Kumuls.
The side have also boosted their hooking depth, with another former Panther in Luke Sommerton and 2025 Hostplus Cup player of the year Ollie Pascoe joining the squad.
