While the Warriors re-entered the finals last season, they were unable to produce their best form, with major injuries curtailing their promising push to end their premiership drought.

Halfback Luke Metcalf was struck down with an ACL injury in Round 17 while leading the Dally M race, after they were also hit hard earlier in the year, with co-captain Mitch Barnett suffering the same injury in Round 13.

With both players due back on the field in the early-to-mid stages of the season, coach Andrew Webster will be hoping his team have already established some strong foundations, with the Warriors enjoying good depth this year.

The arrival of noted speedster Alofiana Khan-Pereira will no doubt ignite the backline battle, with the All Stars representative hoping for a new lease on life after moving from the Titans.

Roger Tuivasa-Sheck's 2025 try-scoring season

Although the talented Taine Tuaupiki is nipping at his heels, Charnze Nicoll-Klokstad is likely to remain Webster’s number one pick for fullback, proving a reliable performer in the role. However, he can also fill in nicely at centre if the coach wanted to rejig his backs to fit in some more attacking threats.

English import Morgan Gannon, from Super League powerhouse Leeds, will keep the forward pack on their toes, despite a strong contingent of second rowers in the squad.

Warriors fans will also be hoping players who enjoyed break-out seasons in 2025 like Dally M Lock of the Year Erin Clark and Rookie of the Year contender Leka Halasima continue to develop their games.
