Duncan the destroyer: With 202 metres from 20 runs, Tallis Duncan was a handful all night for the Broncos. Duncan had eight tackle breaks on the right edge while left centre Latrell Siegwalt ran for 129 metres and banged over eight conversions from eight attempts.

Full-time: A stunning night for the Rabbitohs with a 48-6 thrashing of a battered and bruised Broncos side who have now slumped to six defeats on the trot.

80 min: Jye Gray makes a mistake off a bomb and a knock-on is called but the Rabbitohs throw in a captain's challenge and come up trumps after replays show the Broncos got the first touch in the contest. 

75 min: For the fourth time in his decorated career Alex Johnston has four tries in a game after Tallis Duncan busts the Broncos on the right edge before the ball finds its way to Ashton Ward who nudges a kick into the in-goal where Jayden Sullivan competes hard and the ball spills free for Johnston to force it. Latrell Siegwalt converts. Rabbitohs 48-6

72 min: A magic moment on debut for John Radel as he trails on the inside and takes a pass from Jayden Sullivan who had broken the line from 40 metres out. Latrell Siegwalt converts. Rabbitohs 42-6

69 min: Jack Gosiewski tries to get an offload away but comes up with a mistake. That's 13 errors for the night for the Broncos.

66 min: Rack up another hat-trick for Alex Johnston courtesy of slick inside work from Ashton Ward, Cody Walker and Latrell Seigwalt, who bangs over the extras. Rabbitohs 36-6

64 min: Ezra Mam is forced from the field with a shoulder injury.

63 min: Grant Anderson stretches for the line but grounds the ball just short and loses control.

62 min: Adam Reynolds leaves the field with what appears to be cramp. Tom Duffy re-enters the game.

56 min: Ed Kosi launches himself for the corner but a desperation tackle by Ezra Mam forces the ball loose.

54 min: Brendan Piakura comes up with an error on the second tackle after the kick-off and the Rabbitohs are hard on attack again.

53 min: The Broncos are on the board as Ben Hunt goes to Grant Anderson on the short side and Anderson puts Josiah Karapani over in the corner. Ezra Mam gave the Broncos the chance with another incisive run. Adam Reynolds converts. Rabbitohs 30-6

52 min: Ashton Ward puts a kick out on the full and the Broncos take over 35 metres out from Souths line.

49 min: Ashton Ward's high ball is spilled by Hayze Perham and Adam Reynolds picks it up in an offside position. Penalty Souths.

44 min: Ezra Mam takes on the line from 10 metres out with a nice step but the Bunnies shut him down just short of the line.

43 min: Grant Anderson and Josiah Karapani muscle up to drag Tallis Duncan over the sideline and the Broncos get an early opportunity.

Unwanted history: The 30-point deficit is the biggest in Broncos club history dating back to their inception in 1988. A sixth consecutive loss is very much on the cards for the defending premiers.

King Keaon: The Bunnies had plenty of stars in the first half but none better than Keaon Koloamatangi, who had 12 runs for 117 metres, including 35 post-contact metres. The giant edge forward also came up with 13 tackles.

Walker's on: Skipper Cody Walker was in everything for the Rabbitohs, serving up two try assists, one line break and a line break assist as he tormented the Broncos' defence with his off-the-cuff brilliance. 

Half-time: On an emotional night for both clubs it's the Rabbitohs who harnessed it best and dominated the opening 40 minutes on the back of 61 per cent of possession. The home side had nine more sets and ran for 272 more metres than the Broncos, who made eight errors.

40 min: The Rabbitohs go to the break on a high as Jamie Humphreys crosses for their fifth try after Ashton Ward's chip kick was gathered by Cody Walker who delivered a superb offload for Humphreys to score under the sticks. Latrell Siegwalt converts. Rabbitohs 30-0

39 min: Adam Reynolds' clearing kick from his own 30-metre line sails out on the full and the Broncos are under the pump again.

36 min: Ed Kosi taps a kick back to Tallis Duncan who is cut down in a copybook tackle by Josiah Karapani to keep Brisbane's line intact.

31 min: Cody Walker puts a kick out on the full and the Broncos march up field but Tom Duffy makes a mistake trying to play the ball 10 metres out. The Broncos lodge a captain's challenge and come up empty.

29 min: The Rabbitohs go to their lethal left edge where Cody Walker finds Latrell Siegwalt who puts Alex Johnston over for his second of the night. Siegwalt converts. Rabbitohs 24-0

27 min: Liam Le Blanc comes up with a bone rattler on Antonio Verhoeven who puts the ball down. The Rabbitohs are inside the red zone again.

23 min: Cody Walker jumps into dummy half on the right edge and picks up David Fifita who powers through two defenders to score. Latrell Siegwalt lands his third conversion of the night. Rabbitohs 18-0

23 min: Lachlan Hubner leaves the field with a shoulder injury which is reported to be an AC joint and the Bunnies are hopeful he will be able to return.

20 min: Thomas Duffy's pinpoint bomb has Souths scrambling and Ashton Ward is forced to ground the ball. The Broncos fail to contest the dropout, the ball goes out, Souths scrum.

15 min: Alex Johnston racks up his 102nd try in 102 games at Accor Stadium on the back of a clean line break from Jye Gray, who left Adam Reynolds in his wake as he split the Broncos wide open. Latrell Siegwalt adds the extras. Rabbitohs 12-0

13 min: Ed Kosi climbs high to bring down an Ashton Ward bomb and outleaps Josiah Karapani to bring it to ground for the opening try. Latrell Siegwalt converts. Rabbitohs 6-0

11 min: David Fifita grubbers into the in goal, Grant Anderson cleans up, Adam Reynolds goes long with the dropout up to halfway.

9 min: On the back of an Adam Reynolds intercept the Broncos are hot on attack but the ball is knocked on by Cory Paix and Souths hang on. Referee Grant Atkins ruled Brandon Smith had knocked the ball out of Paix's hands and called a knock on but the Rabbitohs challenged and the bunker ruled in their favour.

7 min: Adam Reynolds' bomb comes down right on the tryline and Grant Anderson chooses to tap the ball back rather than catch it and the Broncos come up with a knock-on.

5 min: After the sides trade sets early the Bunnies come up with the first error when Brandon Smith delivers a forward pass out of dummy half to Lachlan Hubner.

7.53pm: Jai Arrow has rung the Rabbitohs' Legacy Bell and is embraced by players from both sides before kick-off.

Rabbitohs: The Bunnies are 1-19 with no late changes. Jai Arrow was named in No.23 as the rugby league community rallies to support the 30-year-old following his devastating MND diagnosis. Tallis Duncan is set to shift to the centres after Campbell Graham suffered a calf injury, with Euan Aitken coming into the back row. Lachlan Hubner will start at lock with Cam Murray away on Origin duties. 

Broncos: Late changes on game day with Jack Gosiewski sliding to the bench, Xavier Willison moving to prop and Josh Rogers joining the starting side at lock. Phillip Coates has been added to the six-man bench. Jordan Riki makes his return from a foot injury in the back row for Brisbane's first game at Accor Stadium since last year's grand final. The Broncos will wear Jai Arrow's name and Bronco number embroidered above the club badge, with the jerseys to be auctioned off and proceeds going to Jai's family.
