As it happened: Critta snatches victory; Titans win thriller; Dolphins in 7 heaven

Full-time: Cometh the hour, cometh the man. Canterbury captain Stephen Crichton stepped into the five-eighth role and stepped up to snatch victory for the Bulldogs with an extra time field goal. Crichton's 30m field goal gave Canterbury their third win in their last four matches as they focus on a finals berth. The Samoa superstar also scored a try before halftime as the Bulldogs fought their way back into the game and took the lead midway through the second half. 

83 min: Crichton makes no mistake this time, striking the ball perfectly to snatch victory for the Bulldogs. Bulldogs 13 Sea Eagles 12.

82 min: A Nathan Brown error has given the Bulldogs field position to attempt a field goal.

51 min: An enterprising Bulldogs attacking movement has broken down after Rinikama was unable to take a long, bullet-like pass from Crichton.

47 min: Fogarty has kicked a 40/20 to put the Sea Eagles on the attack.

44 min: Sea Eagles hooker Brandon Wakeham has hobbled from the field with a calf injury. 

Bulldogs backline shuffle: Captain Stephen Crichton is playing five-eighth in a positional switch with Matt Burton, who is in the centres. Crichton is doing most of the kicking for the Bulldogs, kicking eight times to three by halfback Lachlan Galvin.

Olakau'atu's Origin audition: The Blues discard has given a strong reminder of why he should be recalled, The rampaging secondrower has made 84m running with the ball, including 46m post contact. He also made seven tackle breaks. 

Halftime: The Sea Eagles have dominated the opening 40 minutes but only lead by two points at the break. Both teams are completing high but Manly have committed six errors, conceded two penalties and five repeat sets to help keep the Bulldogs in the game. Canterbury have missed 25 tackles.

32 min: The Sea Eagles have lost their captain's challenge after interchange hooker failed to convince the Bunker that he hadn't knocked on when running out of dummy half. 

Breaking: Garrick has gone off for a HIA.

20 min: Garrick has dived over from dummy half after Luke Brooks stripped the ball from Jacob Kiraz as the Bulldogs fullback ran the ball back from a kick. Garrick is now second to Graham Eadie as Manly's greatest pointscorer but he did not take the conversion attempt and Fogarty missed. Sea Eagles 8 Bulldogs 0.

18 min: Haumole Olakau'atu intercepted a Thompson pass and bulldozered Enari Tuala but had the ball stripped by Crichton, who knocked on in the process.

14 min: Bulldogs prop Max King has won a captain's challenge after initially being ruled to have lost the ball.

13 min: The Sea Eagles have lost forward Kobe Hetherington with a Category 1 concussion.

7 min: The Sea Eagles have gone end to end and sideline to sideline to open the scoring through Lehi Hopoate. Tom Trbojevic started the movement when he linked with Jason Saab on Manly' right edge and Hopoate scored in the opposite corner after the Sea Eagles shifted the ball quickly through Trbojevic and Tolu Koula to the Tonga winger. Bulldogs: A few lates change on game day, with Enari Tuala shifting to centre, Bronson Xerri moving to the bench and Jethro Rinakama coming in to start on the wing. Bailey Hayward named to start at hooker, moving Kurt Mann to the bench. Alekolasimi Jones moves into the extended bench, with Jed Reardon dropping out. Earlier, captain Stephen Crichton (shoulder) and winger Jacob Kiraz (calf) are on track to take their place in the team after battling injuries in recent weeks. "Critta is feeling a lot better, just having the week off last week. He feels refreshed, his body needed that rest and hopefully we can get the best version of him physically for the rest of the season," said coach Cameron Ciraldo. Hooker Kurt Mann is also set to return from an ear injury and will wear the No.9 jumper. Alex Conti joins the bench in jersey No.22 in Friday's 24-hour update.

Sea Eagles: Tom Trbojevic is on track to return from a hamstring injury in a major boost for Manly. It's a straight swap at fullback after Clayton Faulalo injured his hamstring in the win over South Sydney. Tolu Koula has been named to back up following Wednesday's Origin clash while Ethan Bullemor is set to return via the interchange after recovering from a head knock at training a couple of weeks ago. Blake Wilson and Jackson Shereb dropped out of the squad 24 hours before kick-off. No late changes on game day.

Full-time: In a gritty performance - especially with two players ruled out during the match - the Titans have been able to defeat the Panthers, with a field goal from Zane Harrison in the final minute sealing the deal 19-18. What would please Titans coach Josh Hannay the most however would have been the immense resolve in defence, holding out the Panthers on their own line for repeated sets. Prior to this game, the Titans had not defeated the Panthers since 2019.

79th min: After skewing an earlier attempt and Jayden Campbell's effort also charged down - rookie halfback Zane Harrison has stepped up and kicked the what will be the winning field goal. The Titans lead 19-18.

74th min: After the long break, the Panthers were able to shake that off and have scored a great try, with Lindsay Smith going over, thanks in part to an around-the-back flick pass from Alamoti. He converts the try and it's all locked up again at 18-18.

73rd min: A long stoppage in play unfortunately for an injury to Jensen Taumoepeau. He was going up for a high ball along with Tom Jenkins and other Panthers chasers and landed awkwardly with the weight of the opposing players on his leg, resulting in a serious ankle injury. 

69th min: A clever pass down the short-side from 20 metres out and the Titans have hit the lead with Phil Sami running in untouched. It comes after once again the Panthers can't get in done down the other end of the field, with their fifth tackle options not serving them as well as they would like. Campbell converts and its an 18-12 lead to the Titans. 

64th min: After putting in some huge work at the other end of the field in defence, the Titans have finally had an opportunity at their end from a 20-metre restart and then a six again and they have capitalised. A hard-running Arama Hau has exploded onto a pass close to his line and bounced his way over to help his side hit back. Jayden Campbell's conversion attempt is successful and we are all tied up on the Gold Coast 12-12.

52nd min: The Titans challenge a call of grounded in the in-goal, with Jojo Fifita adamant he had been able to reach his arm out over the line - but the Bunker upheld the call. 

50th min: Still no score in the second half, but much like the first, it's the Panthers who are applying the pressure, but the Titans are somehow holding them out.

Half-time: After a poor start, the Titans have fought back well to remain in the game against the Panthers who were out of the blocks early with two quick tries.

29th min: Huge defence from the Titans who have just held out the Panthers for three back-to-back sets on their line. 

Injury update - Cooper Bai has failed his HIA. Liam Henry from the Panthers has also left the field for a HIA.

21st min: This time, it's the Panthers who make an error and invite the Titans to pounce in their attacking area and it's try sneak Kurtis Morrin who bursts through to make the most of their opportunity and goes in under the posts. Jayden Campbell converts and it's 12-6 to Penrith.

13th min: Panthers are in again with Luke Garner going over, once again capitalising on errors from the home side. Alamoti slots the goal over again and it's 12-0.

8th min: After both sides start the game with a few errors, the Panthers are the first to get things together are post the first points through Liam Martin. Paul Alamoti converts for a 6-0 lead.

Titans: Centre Jojo Fifita will play against the Panthers but coach Josh Hannay has chosen to rest captain Tino Fa'asuamaleaui after an emotional Origin appearance following the passing of his father Fereti last weekend. Klese Haas will start in the front row in Fa'asuamaleaui's place with Sam Verrills added to the six-man bench. Adam Christensen also joins the bench on game day in place of Lachlan Ilias.

Panthers: The Panthers are 1-19 with no late changes. Blues stars Isaah Yeo, Nathan Cleary and Brian To'o will all be rested as coach Ivan Cleary looks to navigate a taxing period for his big names. Tireless Terrell: Wests Tigers prop Terrell May worked himself to a standstill with 17 runs for 152 metres, 45 tackles, three offloads and two tackle breaks. May also came up with a trysaving tackle on Kulikefu Finefeuiaki with 15 minutes to play as the Tigers tried to hang in the contest.

Full-time: The Dolphins have extended their club record winning streak to seven and climb to third on the ladder. The Dolphins' back five were absolutely lethal with 96 runs between them for 889 metres. 74 min: Terrell May throws a 30-metre cut-out pass which finds Taylan May and the Tigers have a chance but the ball is lost and Jamayne Isaako scoots away.

72 min: The Dolphins wrap it up with a long-range special from halfway as Trai Fuller breaks the line again and picks up Jeremy Marshall-King who sends it on to Kurt Donoghoe and then finally Kodi Nikorima who finishes it off. Jamayne Isaako converts. Dolphins 30-16

67 min: Youngster Josese Lanyon puts down a tough pass from Api Koroisau and the Dolphins are handed a great opportunity to stretch their lead.

64 min: Concerted pressure by the Dolphins with a rampaging Kulikefu Finefeuiaki denied by Terrell May just short before the ball is spun right but Jamayne Isaako puts it down.

61 min: The teams trade sets as the game is played at a frantic pace. Fullbacks Trai Fuller and Jahream Bula continue to be safe under the high ball and then the wingers go to work to come out of trouble.

50 min: The Dolphins are penalised for an escort on Tigers kick chasers. They throw in a challenge which is unsuccessful.

43 min: Kodi Nikorima cuts out Herbie Farnworth with a bullet pass for Tevita Naufahu to produce an acrobatic dive into the right-hand corner. Jamayne Isaako converts from touch. Dolphins 18-10 

Herbie's a handful: Dolphins centre Herbie Farnworth continued his outstanding season with 120 run metres, two offloads, one line break and a try.

Half-time: The Tigers had 53 per cent of possession and completed 18 of 21 sets and looked set to take a lead to the sheds before Patrick Herbert left the field and the Dolphins went straight to his edge to send Connelly Lemuelu over for a try to go ahead 12-10.

40 min: The Dolphins get a late shot at points but Brad Schneider throws a loose offload and the Tigers take possession.

36 min: The Dolphins' left edge strikes again as Brad Schneider delivers a deft pass for Connelly Lemuelu to explode into a gap and score from 20 metres out. Jamayne Isaako nails the conversion. Dolphins 12-10

35 min: A double blow for the Tigers as Patrick Herbert leaves the field nursing his shoulder and Jock Madden is ruled out after failing his HIA.

28 min: Jarome Luai puts in a pinpoint bomb, Jahream Bula climbs above the pack to bring the ball down but the Dolphins scramble superbly to hold him up over the line.

25 min: Kodi Nikorima toes a loose ball ahead into the in-goal and is knocked over by Api Koroisau. The bunker rules Koroisau's contact was incidental and it's play on through to the dead ball line where Ray Stone tries to keep it alive but is outside the field of play when he touches the ball.

23 min: Jock Madden goes to the line and picks up Sione Fainu who slips an offload to Jarome Luai who slides over the line but the last pass is ruled forward. Madden is taken high as he unloads the ball as he offloads and is sent for a HIA but there's no penalty for the Tigers.

18 min: The Dolphins respond with Kodi Nikorima putting Herbie Farnworth through a hole with a peach of a pass. That's seven tries for the season for the in-form Farnworth. The conversion attempt from Jamayne Isaako is successful. 6-6

14 min: Brad Schneider kicks on last tackle, Jarome Luai gets himself in front of the catcher and is bowled over by Jack Bostock who is penalised.

12 min: A deft grubber kick by Api Koroisau for a chasing Terrell May but the ball hits the goal post and comes down to the Dolphins.

Wests Tigers: Bunty Afoa has been promoted to the starting side 90 minutes before kick-off with Fonua Pole moving to the bench. Adam Doueihi's return from a shoulder injury is on hold for another week after he dropped off the reserves list on Friday. Jock Madden will again wear the No.7 jersey as has done for the past six games. Co-captain Api Koroisau will take his place after going unused by Blues coach Laurie Daley on Wednesday night. 

Dolphins: Star half Isaiya Katoa was ruled out of the game after captain's run on Friday. Katoa suffered a knee injury in his side's win over the Roosters last week. Brad Schneider will play half. Queensland reps Max Plath, Thomas Flegler, Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow and Selwyn Cobbo will all miss the clash but fellow Maroon Kulikefu Finefeuiaki has been added to the six-man bench after playing just eight minutes in Origin Two.
