A stunning return from an ACL injury by Tarryn Aiken and a standout display by Raecene McGregor at her new club headlined Round 1 of the NRLW Telstra Premiership.
Playing her first match since Round 11 last season, Aiken spearheaded the Roosters to a 34-10 win over the Titans to poll the maximum six Dally M votes.
Wests Tigers halfback McGregor stepped up big time on Sunday with three try assists, two line break assists and 113 run metres as Craig Sandercock's team got off to a perfect start with a 28-16 win over the Eels.
Also polling maximum Dally M votes in Round 1 were Knights back-rower Yasmin Meakes, Raiders fullback Sheridan Gallagher and Warriors five-eighth Gayle Broughton.
